The Pupil

I’m a fan of Rebecca Lim, and have been since 2010 when I first caught The Pupil on TV.

For the longest time, I’ve appreciated how Rebecca succeeded in the relatively complex world of entertainment. In fact, she even became somewhat of “the ah jie” despite having a few relatively nasty falls along the way! If picking oneself up is an Olympic Sport, I think Rebecca deserves a Gold.

Personally, I see her trajectory somewhat parallel that of Wendy Lim from *The Pupil, who also faced an uphill climb with her career at Roberts & Fong… but still found the gumption to do well regardless.

With Rebecca (and Wendy) is a kind of tenacity I wish we all have when pursuing our goals. This is a quality I hope will help inspire you to work towards becoming a better version of yourself.

Charitable Work

I also admire Rebecca for her charitable endeavours, be it through her goodwill ambassadorship with the Singapore Cancer Society or her work with the less fortunate in society. We should all strive to do more for the world we live in, and Rebecca is an active global citizen we can all look up to.

Clearly, this isn’t my blog and you’re not here to learn about what I think. For any concerns, do feel free to contact me via the email below.

Otherwise, the best and most updated place to get Rebecca updates is likely her IG, which is @limrebecca

*If The Pupil went on to Season 5 or something, I’m pretty sure it will be an utter joy to watch Wendy traversing the world of Roberts, Fong, Tang & Lim. (Yep, I’ve just imagined a world where Wendy is a named partner of Roberts and Fong, alongside mentor Dennis Tang.)
